GVI Seychelles

GVI Seychelles is a non-profit educational centre set on the north-western tip of Mahé. As a PADI Dive Center staffed by 4 PADI instructors, it takes a different approach to diving here — one built around conservation, where every dive doubles as a chance to learn survey techniques and methodologies used to protect the reef.

Courses and conservation

Training runs from PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling through to PADI First Aid (EFR), all delivered in English and supported by an onsite classroom, a dive boat, and onsite accommodation. Conservation activities sit at the heart of the programme, making this a natural fit for divers who want their skills to serve a bigger purpose.

The centre works a spread of local sites including Twin Barges, Cap Matoopa, Conception South, Lighthouse, Therese South, and BTC (Baie Ternay Center). Beneath the surface you might encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, and more — the kind of marine life that makes hands-on conservation work so rewarding.
