Heichao dive

Set on the coast of Onna in Okinawa, Japan, Heichao dive is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort built around one of the region's most talked-about underwater draws: the Blue Cave. Divers here explore a stretch of ocean where light and rock combine to give the cave its famous blue glow, with fish gathering all around.

Courses and instruction

A team of 5 PADI Instructors guides students through PADI Scuba Diving, from first-timers meeting the sea to divers building on their skills. Lessons run in an onsite, air-conditioned classroom, and the centre handles Air Fills on site. Staff work in Japanese, Mandarin and Chinese, making the experience accessible to a broad mix of visitors.

Out in the water, there's a real sense of what Okinawa's ocean can offer — sharks, whales, turtles and schools of ocean fish all share these waters.
