Hervey Bay Dive Centre

Set on Queensland's sunny coast at The Boat Club Marina, the family-run Hervey Bay Dive Centre is the region's premier dive operator — holder of a 2023 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and voted a 2023 Best of Queensland Experience. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, it offers PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling, EFR first aid, conservation programs, and equipment sales and rental for adults and kids alike.

Wrecks, reefs and whales

Year-round, guided tours visit the ex-HMAS Tobruk, a striking military wreck resting on her starboard side a short distance from the harbour. Nearby local dives include the K'Gari, Goorie and Iron Maria wrecks, the Three Ships Wrecks, Hardys and Simpson artificial reefs, the Snapper Grounds and Moon Ledge.

For something further afield, the multi-day Advance II Reef Expeditions reach the reefs of Lady Elliot, Lady Musgrave and Fairfax Islands. During the humpback migration from July to October, a dedicated Swim with a Humpback Whale tour lets divers and snorkelers meet these gentle giants.
