House of Scuba

Based in San Diego, House of Scuba is an authorized PADI dive center built around one simple idea: getting you certified and into the water with confidence. As a PADI 5 Star IDC facility with 19 PADI instructors on the team, it offers a full range of scuba certifications, all taught in English.

Local diving and marine life

Nearby dive sites include Marine Room and Turtle Reef, where the local marine life runs the gamut from sharks, whales and turtles to ocean fish, rays, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish. It's a rich stretch of water that keeps divers coming back to explore.

Beyond training, House of Scuba covers the practical side too, with air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and a well-stocked retail shop, along with rentals for scuba, freediving and kids' gear. Add air conditioning, on-site parking and involvement in conservation activities, and it's a solid home base for divers of every level.
