Into the Blue

Into the Blue is a diving, freediving and swimming school based in Châtillon (Chindrieux), set on the shores of a large Alpine lake in France's Rhône-Alpes region. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with two PADI Instructors, it's geared toward divers who want quality instruction in one of the area's well-regarded freshwater diving spots.

Courses for every level

Whether you're returning to the water or starting from scratch, there's a pathway here. PADI ReActivate, from USD 191, refreshes lapsed skills in roughly a day. The PADI Open Water Diver Course, from USD 907, runs about four days for new divers, while the PADI Freediver programme, from USD 668, covers around six hours of breath-hold training.

Diving centres on the Plongée à Châtillon (Chindrieux) site, and the school enjoys a waterfront location. Instruction is offered in French. It's a natural fit for lake divers and freedivers looking to learn or refresh close to the water's edge.
