Jah Diving Club Mito

Jah Diving Club Mito is a PADI 5 Star IDC based in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, with a sister shop in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. It holds the distinction of being the only PADI 5 Star ID Center in the prefecture where you can train all the way up to instructor level, a status backed by PADI awards in education, community activity and environmental protection.

Courses and diving

With a team of 5 PADI instructors, the centre runs continuing-education programs year-round, from a Full-Day Dive Trip (from USD 141, around 5 hours) to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course (from USD 637, roughly 2 days). Divers here encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and more.

On site you'll find a classroom, dive boat and parking, plus air fills, equipment sales, scuba rental and a dive club. Staff assist in English, Japanese and Indonesian, making it a welcoming choice for newcomers and those chasing professional certification alike.
