Tucked away on the remote island of Savusavu in Northern Fiji, J M Cousteau Diving opens the door to some of the world's most pristine and biodiverse dive sites. Sitting just 10–20 minutes from the Namena Marine Reserve, it puts coral reefs, walls and canyons within easy reach — home to turtles, reef sharks, masked banner fish, fairy basslets, scorpion fish and moray eels. Head 20km south to Namenalala Island and you'll find miles upon miles of uncharted reef, where tuna, Spanish mackerel, mantas and large sharks cruise up from the depths. As a cetacean migration pathway, the region can also reward the lucky with dolphins and sperm, pilot, minke and humpback whales.
