Joe's Wassersportcenter

Set in Salzburg, Austria, Joe's Wassersportcenter is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center that pairs a modern shop with a full-service diving and swimming school. With over 25 years of experience and a team of 9 PADI Instructors, it has grown into one of the internationally awarded diving schools in the region — a place as comfortable outfitting first-time snorkellers as it is training career divers.

Courses and local diving

The training path runs the full range, from Open Water Diver for complete beginners through to the Divemaster level, taught in German with an onsite classroom on hand. Local divers head out to the nearby lakes of Wolfgangsee, Fuschlsee and Mattsee for their trips and skill sessions.

Beyond training, the centre works as a proper dive base: rental gear including diving bottles, a filling station, and regulator and revision servicing for brands such as Mares, Aqualung, Spiro and Apeks. A retail shop, freediving equipment rental and on-site parking round out the offering, making it a natural home base for divers and swimmers alike.
