OceanDoc-Divers GmbH Austria

Tucked away at Weissensee in Austria, OceanDoc-Divers is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort founded in 2013 by Dr. "Sharky" Simone Goertz. Its crew of diving professionals and volunteers lives by a simple motto: "Diving changes your life, even if you're not diving." With three PADI Instructors on hand and a waterfront location complete with a house reef, it's a welcoming base for anyone drawn to the water.

Courses and dive sites

Newcomers can start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Presseggersee from USD 90, take the plunge into the PADI Open Water Course from USD 657, or work toward PADI Scuba Diver from USD 406. Training is supported by an onsite pool and classroom, plus adaptive services for divers who need them.

Local exploration centres on the alpine walls of Große Steinwand and Kleine Steinwand. With instruction offered in both English and German, OceanDoc-Divers suits first-timers and certification seekers alike who want a friendly, freshwater introduction to the sport.
