Kadena Marina Scuba & Sea

Kadena Marina Scuba & Sea is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center on the waterfront in Onna, Japan, with a team of six PADI instructors ready to help with all your SCUBA, snorkeling and water sport needs. From Junior Open Water certifications right through to Dive Master programs, there's a pathway here for every level of diver.

Local diving and facilities

Divers explore Okinawa favourites such as Cape Maeda (the Blue Cave), the Sunabe Seawall, Kadena North Steps and the Water Treatment Plant, with chances to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish. The center backs up its trips with an onsite training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat and parking.

Services run the full range — air fills, equipment sales, service and repairs, scuba rental, a dive club, travel and conservation activities. The center serves U.S. military members and their dependents, with Military ID verification required, and instruction is offered in English.
