KaiWai is a Fijian word meaning "From the Water" — a fitting name for an operation built around getting people in it. Based at the Fiji Marriott Resort in Momi Bay, KaiWai Watersports Fiji specialises in safe, fun and affordable water-based adventure across resorts on Denarau Island, Momi Bay and the Mamanuca Islands.

The dive side is a PADI Resort staffed by four PADI instructors, with a waterfront location, a house reef and a dive boat for reaching further afield. If scuba is new to you, the one-day PADI Resort Scuba School and Discover Scuba Diving programme lets you try it without committing to the full certification course — no prior experience needed, though you should be in reasonable physical health. Certified divers and those ready to earn their card have a choice of over 20 dive sites.

Facilities run to an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, onsite accommodation, and food and drinks, with air fills and scuba equipment rental available. Instruction is in English, and beyond diving KaiWai runs snorkelling trips, sailing, kayaking, SUPing and more — making it a natural fit for divers travelling with non-diving companions.
