Karibu Divers

Karibu Divers is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center based in Zuidlaren, in the Drenthe region of the Netherlands. As a PADI 5 Star centre with six PADI instructors on the team, it offers courses right across the range — from complete beginners through to Boarder diver — taught in a fun, relaxed style with plenty of personal attention.

Courses, sites and who it suits

The centre's philosophy is simple: diving should be safe and sound, but above all it should be fun. Alongside PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving, Snorkelling and EFR First Aid training, Karibu also runs a dive club and organises diving trips both in the Netherlands and abroad. Nearby freshwater sites include Gasselterveld and Veenmeer Tynaarlo.

On site you'll find a classroom, a retail shop, a dive boat, free Wi-Fi and parking, with air fills, equipment sales and a full range of scuba, freediving and kids' gear rental. Staff speak English, Dutch and German, making it a welcoming choice for local and visiting divers alike.
