Klein Scuba

Based in Wausau, Wisconsin, Klein Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around one guiding principle: safety. The team educates divers on technique, equipment, gear care, and the diving and snorkeling opportunities that await — always in line with PADI standards and best practices, so the fun never comes at the expense of your wellbeing.

Courses and services

With 7 PADI Instructors on staff, the center covers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, and PADI First Aid – EFR training. Beyond the classroom, you'll find air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, servicing and repairs, plus rentals for scuba gear, kids' gear, and scooters (DPV). There's also a dive club and travel offerings for divers who want to go further.

Onsite facilities include a classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, and parking. Staff speak English and Spanish, making Klein Scuba a welcoming home base for new and returning divers alike across freshwater and beyond — where sharks, whales, turtles, and freshwater fish all feature in the diving on offer.
