Kraken Scuba

Kraken Scuba is a PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Center in Albany, New York, offering a full range of scuba courses that runs all the way up to professional-level instruction. With 16 PADI Instructors on the team, it's a place built to take you from your first breaths underwater to a career in diving.

More Than a Classroom

This is also a full retail store and service center, able to sell, rent, and service scuba equipment across different brands. On-site you'll find a classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop, and parking, plus services including air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, and rental gear — including kids' sizes and travel rentals covering everything from BCDs and regulators to 7mm wetsuits, drysuits, and dive computers.

Come join for a class, or simply for some local diving. The center even runs international dive trips, so there's always somewhere new on the horizon. English is spoken here, making it a welcoming base for divers at every level.
