Lecques Aquanaut Center

Tucked along the coast at La Ciotat, France, Lecques Aquanaut Center invites divers to explore the underwater wonders of Lecques Bay — a setting naturally sheltered from the winds. As a PADI Dive Center with two PADI Instructors on hand, it runs outings all year round, making it a dependable home base whatever the season.

Courses, dive sites and who it suits

Diving here is built around PADI Scuba Diving instruction, so the centre works well for newcomers earning their first certification and for returning divers wanting reliable local outings. The calm waters of Lecques Bay are home to marine life including ocean fish, sharks, whales and turtles, giving each descent something to look out for.

On land, you'll find a retail shop, parking, and changing rooms with showers, while a dive boat carries groups out to the water. Scuba and kids' equipment rental keeps things simple for families and travellers, and the team speaks English, French and German.
