Life's A Beach Scuba

Life's A Beach Scuba — known simply as LAB Scuba — is a PADI Dive Center in Danbury, USA, where newcomers and seasoned veterans alike get a warm welcome. Backed by three PADI Instructors teaching in English, it's a friendly home base for anyone looking to get in the water.

Courses, gear and local diving

The shop covers the essentials: PADI Scuba Diving instruction and PADI First Aid (EFR), plus air fills and equipment servicing. If LAB doesn't service your brand, the team will help you track down someone who does. Rental gear runs the full kit — BCDs, regulators, wetsuits (shorty and 5mm), dive computers, masks and snorkels, cylinders and more, with kids' equipment available too.

Beyond lessons, LAB Scuba runs a dive club and organises trips, and the waters it dives are home to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. On dry land, there's an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, parking and a retail shop where you can browse lionfish jewellery and undersea photography.
