Liuqiu Dive

Feeling low? Head for Xiaoliuqiu, where the waters off Pingtung, Taiwan turn into a busy turtle playground. Divers at Liuqiu Dive spend their time watching sea turtles munch seaweed in the shallows, bury their heads in the coral, or drift calmly among the visitors. Courses and diving at Liuqiu Dive

A PADI 5 Star Dive Center with a resident PADI Instructor, Liuqiu Dive covers everything from PADI Scuba Diving courses and PADI First Aid (EFR) to conservation-focused sessions. Air fills and Nitrox keep divers topped up, while the onsite classroom, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi make the surface intervals comfortable.

The house dive site is 小琉球 (Xiaoliuqiu) itself, easy to reach and rich with turtles. With staff speaking English, Mandarin and Chinese and doors open every day of the week, the center suits everyone from first-time students to travelling divers chasing an encounter with these gentle residents.
