Founded in Fort Worth, TX in May of 1988, Lone Star Scuba has grown into one of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex's leading scuba and dive travel centers. A PADI Five Star IDC backed by 8 PADI instructors, the shop prides itself on a professional, friendly staff ready to help with all your scuba and snorkeling needs.

Training for every kind of diver

Because it's a Five Star IDC, Lone Star Scuba can train individuals from beginners all the way to instructors and everything in between. The range of classes runs from purely recreational scuba to full-on technical diving, so whether you want to hang out on a Caribbean reef and play with the fish or take on deep penetration wreck diving at old World War II sites, they've got you covered. Many certification courses are taught locally, while classes like the PADI Altitude Diver and PADI Drift Diver call for a little travel.

The center also loves to travel, running dive trips worldwide — from a weekend on the Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary in the gulf to a week aboard a sailing yacht in Fiji, with many trips open to divers and non-divers alike.
