Mactan Scuba University

Mactan Scuba University (MSU) is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in Cebu, Philippines, staffed by 4 PADI instructors and set right on the waterfront in Mactan's marine environment. What sets it apart is its Japanese course director, bringing clear communication and tailored, culturally sensitive training to divers who value personal attention.

Courses and dive sites

MSU runs a full range of PADI programs, from the Open Water Diver [eLearning] and Advanced Open Water Diver through Enriched Air Diver and the Open Water & Advanced Combo Course. Guided outings include a Shore Dive at Mactan Cebu, a Dive Against Debris conservation dive, and the Oslob Whale Shark Dive Trip. The house reef and the Kontiki Marina dive site put divers close to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

With an onsite classroom, retail shop, dive boat and equipment rental, plus staff speaking English, Japanese and Filipino, MSU suits both novice and advanced divers looking to build skills or a diving career.
