Located in Zamboanguita, Negros, just south of Dauin, it gives volunteer divers from any agency the chance to take part in underwater marine research within the Coral Triangle, one of the world's most biodiverse marine regions.
MCP combines PADI training with hands-on conservation work such as reef monitoring, coral rehabilitation, and sea turtle conservation. Courses cater to all levels, from PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver to Rescue Diver and Divemaster, alongside specialties like Coral Reef Conservation and Fish Identification. PADI TecRec technical courses are offered for divers exploring deeper environments. Non-divers can learn on the program too, including the 8-week PADI Divemaster Program.
With 10 PADI instructors, an onsite classroom, accommodation, food and drinks, and free Wi-Fi, MCP suits anyone wanting to dive with purpose. Volunteers must be aged 18–60 and commit a minimum of six weeks, typically doing ten to twelve dives in a week near the famed dive sites of Dauin and Apo Island.
