Martha's Quarry Scuba Center

Tucked into the heart of Middle Tennessee just outside Nashville, Martha's Quarry Scuba Center is a 33-acre spring-fed quarry that its team calls a diamond in the rough — and one they see becoming a top diving destination in the Mid-South. This PADI Dive Center makes the water genuinely approachable, with easy shore entry, a brand new dock, and newly submerged training platforms that suit divers building their skills.

What you'll find below the surface

Water clarity is a real draw here, with seasonal temperatures ranging from 40 degrees in winter to 80 degrees in summer. Dives run from 15 to 57 feet, and the quarry is dotted with attractions marked by buoys, most linked by underwater lines. Explore sunken watercraft — cabin cruisers, speedboats, a yacht and a sailboat — plus an airplane, a touring bus, two multi-story buildings with a conveyor belt system, and an underwater forest.
