Matava - Fiji...Untouched

Perched on the waterfront of Kadavu Island, Fiji, Matava is a PADI 5 Star dive centre that dives exclusively on the world-renowned Great Astrolabe Reef — the world's fourth largest barrier reef. With two custom-built dive boats designed to explore both the outer and inner reefs, the team here caters for every level, from first-time beginner to seasoned diver.

Courses and diving

A dedicated crew of six PADI instructors delivers a full range of PADI certifications, alongside PADI Freediving, Snorkelling, First Aid EFR and hands-on conservation activities. Beneath the surface you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish.

Matava is an off-grid eco resort — solar powered, spring-fed and serving organic farm-to-table meals for up to 26 guests. There's a house reef right on the doorstep, full scuba, freediving and kids' equipment rental, and free Wi-Fi. Between dives, guests can surf, fish, hike or join a yoga session. English is spoken throughout.
