At Maui Dive Shop, we take pride in running fun, safe charters for divers and snorkelers alike across the waters of Maui. Our high-end SCUBA pool gives newcomers a rare chance to try diving and sharpen their skills before heading into the Big Blue, while our House Reef makes an excellent spot for checkout dives or a first breath underwater.

Courses, crew and dive sites

As a PADI Resort with 13 PADI instructors, we offer PADI Scuba Diving, Snorkelling and First Aid EFR training, backed by an onsite classroom, training pool and waterfront location. Once you're certified, join us aboard the Maka Koa for small-group trips out of Maalaea Harbor, where knowledgeable crew deliver in-depth briefings on the boat, the sites and the marine life.

Explore local favourites such as Reefs End and the Back Wall at Molokini, Five Caves at Makena Landing, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach North and Mala Wharf. Expect encounters with turtles, sharks, rays, eels, corals and a wealth of ocean fish. With English-speaking guides and full equipment rental, it suits everyone from first-timers to certified divers.
