Mid-Atlantic Scuba Center

Since 1981, Mid-Atlantic Scuba Center has been a landmark for divers in the Delaware Valley, opening as the region's first PADI 5-Star Training Facility. It has operated as a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center since 1987. Family-owned and running for over 40 years, this Philadelphia-area centre has shaped three generations of divers.

Courses and training

The full range of PADI courses runs from snorkelling through professional levels, taught by six PADI instructors. Classes stay small and personalised, with a maximum of 8–10 students supported by 2–3 staff. Day, evening and weekend schedules make it easy to fit training around life, and modern scuba equipment is provided for all in-water sessions, with wetsuits supplied for every pool session.

On site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking, plus air fills and equipment sales and rental. Digital training materials are offered in a variety of languages. It suits new and returning divers alike who want thorough, hands-on instruction close to Philadelphia.
