Mission Beach Dive

Tucked into the heart of Mission Beach, Mission Beach Dive is a small, family-owned PADI Dive Centre offering access to some of the best diving on the Great Barrier Reef. From beginners to pros, the crew welcomes divers and snorkellers of all abilities and ages, with daily tours to the outer reef aboard their flagship vessel, MahiMahi.

Courses, reefs and local dive sites

This is a place to get off the beaten track. Marvel at UNESCO World Heritage Listed Beaver Reef — the first established Green Zone on the Great Barrier Reef (est. 1974) — or head further afield to Taylor, Eddy, Ellison, Potter, Yamacutta and Otter reefs. Named local dive sites include Friendship Bommie, The Colosseum, Shark Alley and Tokyo Drift.

With just 2 PADI Instructors and small, personal groups, training here is genuinely hands-on. The full PADI range runs from Open Water to Divemaster and Specialties, alongside programs like Seal Team and Discover Scuba Diving — ideal for anyone wanting personalised skill development in warm, English-speaking company.
