Mola Mola

Tucked right in front of JR Nishi-Akashi Station, Mola Mola (Moramora) is a scuba diving specialty store serving divers across the Akashi and wider Osaka region. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center staffed by 2 PADI instructors, it's built to handle every ocean-related need under one roof.

Courses and what it's known for

The shop runs a full range of PADI courses, from C-card classes for complete beginners through to professional-level training, with PADI First Aid (EFR) also on offer. Weekly diving tours keep certified divers in the water regularly, while an onsite classroom supports the learning side of things.

Beyond training, Mola Mola sells and maintains diving equipment and offers a deep rental range, including compass, BCD, mask and snorkel, 3mm and 5mm wetsuits, regulators, dive computers, gauges, boots and steel cylinders. Air fills and Nitrox are available too. With service in Japanese, it suits both first-timers stepping into diving and active divers looking for a reliable home base.
