On the shores of Lake Constance in Steckborn, Eastern Switzerland, mydive delivers top-quality PADI diving training with a family atmosphere. It's a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort with its own course director and 7 PADI instructors, and it runs its own shop — so whether you're a complete beginner or working toward becoming a PADI diving instructor, the pieces are all in one place.

Courses and dive sites

The programme spans 23 courses and activities, starting with PADI Discover Scuba Diving from USD 140 for roughly four hours in the water. From there you can move on to the Advanced Open Water Diver course, ReActivate for divers shaking off some rust, or specialties such as Dry Suit Diver, Deep Diver and Full Face Mask Diver. Alongside the various specialties, mydive also focuses on diving for children, with kids' equipment rental to match.

Local diving covers a long list of sites, among them Steilwand Wallhausen, Riff Williams, Eichwald Wrack Bruno, Ledi Wracks and Zollerbucht. On site you'll find a training pool, a house reef, a retail shop, food and drinks, parking and free Wi-Fi, with air fills, nitrox and trimix available and six languages spoken.
