NAMEGAWA DIVING SERVICE

Nestled on the coast at Katsuura in Japan, Namegawa Diving Service is a PADI Resort built around a simple idea: a relaxed, welcoming space where you can unwind on your days off and leave thinking, "what a great shop." With six PADI Instructors on the team, it's a place where beginners and experienced divers alike find water to enjoy.

Courses and the diving on your doorstep

The centre offers PADI Scuba Diving instruction and PADI First Aid – EFR training, so you can build your skills from your very first breaths underwater through to more advanced open-ocean sites. The local waters bring together dive points suited to every level, with the chance to encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and more.

Divers here have use of free Wi-Fi, a dive boat and parking, along with air fills, equipment sales and rental, and conservation activities. Instruction is offered in Japanese, making this a natural fit for anyone diving Japan's coastline who wants a calm, friendly base for their day on the water.
