Winner of a PADI Top Award, Namiyoikujira is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre based in Osaka, Japan, staffed by 5 PADI Instructors who welcome complete beginners and seasoned divers alike. Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or advancing toward a professional rating, this is a full-service home base with an onsite classroom, retail shop, dive boat and a waterfront location.

Courses and diving for every level

The centre runs the full spectrum of training, from PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling through to PADI TecRec technical courses, PADI First Aid (EFR) and conservation programmes. Gas options are extensive too, with air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas available for those pushing deeper.

Weekly tours put you in the water regularly, with the chance to encounter Osaka's marine life including sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, corals and more. Rental gear covers scuba, freediving, kids' and even scooter (DPV) setups, and staff assist in English and Japanese — making Namiyoikujira a welcoming fit for travelling divers and locals building their skills.
