Perched on the shore of Shizuoka's Suruga Bay, nature inn OSEKAN is a PADI Resort where you can gear up with Mount Fuji filling the horizon. It sits just 100 minutes from Tokyo, yet opens onto one of Japan's most celebrated shore-diving areas at Osezaki, where calm, sheltered water means the sea rarely closes to divers.

Diving with the seasons

The bay's marine life shifts through the year, so no two visits feel the same — expect encounters with ocean fish, sharks and rays, turtles, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, and vivid corals, anemones and jellyfish. A team of 3 PADI Instructors teaches here in English and Japanese, making it a comfortable fit for both newcomers and returning divers.

Tank options run deep for every style: 10L, 12L and 14L air cylinders, 10L and 12L nitrox, sidemount aluminium cylinders and doubles. With nitrox, equipment sales and rental, kids' gear, a retail shop and onsite accommodation renewed in 2024, everything you need sits waterside.
