At Norris Kobe Sannomiya, small-group instruction is the heart of the experience. With four PADI instructors on a team varied enough to accommodate flexible dates, this Osaka-based PADI 5 Star Dive Center lets you work toward your certification calmly and without the crowd.

Who it suits

Female staff are on hand, so women and children can feel at ease even when arriving on their own. Tours run all year round, with day trips or overnight beach stays available on weekends and weekdays alike — and if your preferred dates don't line up, you can still request a tour.

The center offers PADI scuba diving, snorkelling and EFR first-aid courses, along with equipment sales and a full rental range covering wetsuits, drysuits, BCDs, regulators and more. An onsite classroom supports the theory side of your training. Instruction is conducted in Japanese.
