nXt Scuba

At nXt Scuba, we believe every dive is the start of a new adventure—and every diver deserves a guide, a mentor, and a community to grow with. Founded by PADI Silver Course Director Stephen Domorod, this New Haven dive center draws on nearly two decades of experience across diving, retail leadership, and professional instruction. More than a dive school, it's a training collective devoted to mentoring the next generation of divers and dive professionals.

Courses, sites, and what sets nXt Scuba apart

As a PADI Dive Center with 4 PADI Instructors, nXt Scuba pairs modern e-learning with immersive workshops and personalized mentorship. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course runs from USD 227, taking roughly 1 hour. Local diving spans Fort Wetherill State Park, Bigelow Hollow State Park, Stonington Point, West Hill Lake, and Lake Hydra (formerly Dutch Springs).

Rooted in Southeastern Connecticut and proud supporters of the PADI AWARE Foundation, the team folds ocean conservation into training and community events—from Dive Against Debris cleanups to coral conservation workshops. It's a welcoming fit whether you're taking your first breath underwater or stepping into a leadership role.
