Ocean Studio

On Ishigaki Island in Japan, Ocean Studio is an all-in-one facility built for divers, by divers — a place to dive, eat, and stay. It sits in Kabira, a nature-rich area about 30 minutes by car from the city center, right on a waterfront location with its own dive boat and onsite accommodation.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with 3 PADI instructors, Ocean Studio offers PADI Scuba Diving courses and PADI First Aid (EFR) training. An onsite training pool and classroom make it a comfortable base for learning, while Nitrox, air fills, and scuba equipment rental keep experienced divers well supplied.

The surrounding waters are home to sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, and more. On land, you'll find a retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and parking. With English and Japanese spoken, it's a welcoming spot for divers who want their diving, dining, and lodging all in one place.
