Ocean Ventures Fiji

Ocean Ventures Fiji is an award-winning PADI Dive Center set on the waterfront of Natewa Bay, about 40 minutes outside Savusavu. The bay sits slightly off the beaten track and remains one of Fiji's little-known gems — pristine hard and soft coral reefs, easy conditions, and reefs that feel genuinely uncrowded.

Courses and diving

The team teaches the full PADI ladder from Open Water through to Divemaster, alongside a long list of Specialty courses — including the PADI South Pacific Coral Reef Ecology Specialty, which is exclusive to Ocean Ventures Fiji. A two-tank dive trip in Natewa Bay runs around four hours and starts from USD 158, while the PADI Open Water Referral covers the open water dives across roughly two days from USD 335.

Group sizes stay small: a maximum of four divers per instructor, and no more than eight divers aboard the custom-built dive boat. That suits anyone who would rather dive with an instructor's full attention than follow a crowd. Equipment rental covers regulators, BCDs, wetsuits and children's sizes, and the two PADI instructors work in English.

Conservation runs through everything here, including educational programmes that introduce school students to coral reef ecology and marine conservation.
