Ocean View

Ocean View is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Fukuoka, Japan, running its courses in English as well as Japanese. It's a welcoming base for anyone who wants to learn to dive or keep building their skills with instructors who can guide you in your own language.

Where you'll dive

Beyond diving and snorkelling tours across Kyushu and Okinawa, Ocean View also leads overseas trips to the Philippines, Guam, Saipan and Palau. Featured sites include Tatsunokuchi, Balicasag Island, BBC, and the marine sanctuaries of Nalusuan Island and Hilutungan Island — waters known for encounters with sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans.

The shop is set up for comfort and convenience, with an onsite air-conditioned classroom and a retail shop. You can rent full scuba kit or buy your own, and the team stays active through conservation work and a dive club. It suits new divers, English-speaking visitors and travellers looking to explore both Japanese waters and destinations further afield.
