Oceandivers Training Ltd

Based at Dún Laoghaire Harbour, just ten kilometres south of Dublin City, Oceandivers is a PADI Diving School and Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre. As a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort backed by 35 PADI instructors, it welcomes everyone from the complete beginner to the seasoned old hand, teaching English throughout.

Diving Dublin Bay and beyond

The centre offers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec and PADI First Aid (EFR) training, supported by an onsite pool, classroom, aquarium/deep pool and a purpose-built facility. Dublin Bay serves up plenty of shore and boat sites, with the season running from early April to mid October, visibility averaging 3 to 8 metres and temperatures of 8 to 14 degrees. Diving continues year-round, though winter easterly gales can limit local outings.

Three RIBs reach the best sites, with Dalkey Island and the Muglins Rock only 20 minutes away. Depths range from 8 to 25 metres, offering excellent drift diving alongside sheltered spots ideal for beginners at Sandycove Beach. With a dive club and travel programme, Oceandivers suits divers keen to explore Ireland and further afield.
