Octopus Resort

Tucked into Fiji's Yasawa Islands, Octopus Dive Resort is a PADI dive center built for divers who want variety without long crossings. With over 35 dive sites on offer — reefs, walls, drop-offs, swim-throughs, pinnacles and two wrecks — and everything just three to 25 minutes away by boat, there's a genuinely different dive waiting each time you gear up.

Courses and what to expect

A full range of PADI courses runs here, from a first introduction dive or Open Water all the way up to Dive Master, backed by two PADI instructors. There's also a broad selection of specialty dives, including Night, Wreck, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Photography and Drift.

Octopus is known for its outstanding visibility and the stunning sea fans on its walls and drop-offs. Underwater you'll find sharks, turtles and lobster alongside tiny nudibranch, shrimp and crabs, plus a huge variety of hard and soft coral. Dives are guided and boat-based, with shore dives arranged on request — a welcoming fit for newcomers and seasoned divers alike.
