OKINAWA DIVING SERVICE Lagoon

Set on the waterfront in Onna, OKINAWA DIVING SERVICE Lagoon is a PADI Resort staffed by five PADI Instructors. English-speaking divers are made to feel at home here, with English materials on hand and a warm welcome for anyone keen to get in the water.

Diving and courses

The centre runs a Half-Day Dive Trip covering two dives, as well as a Coral planting dive — a single-dive outing that pairs time underwater with hands-on conservation. A house reef sits right on the doorstep, and divers here share the water with sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking. Nitrox is available, along with equipment sales and rental, and the team works in both English and Japanese. It's a friendly, well-equipped base that suits English-speaking visitors and divers who like the idea of giving something back to the reef.
