Our Ocean Diving

Founded in 2018 alongside Emeraude Lodge, Our Ocean Diving sits just a few metres from the hotel on Ambarihonko beach, in the north-west of Nosy Be, Madagascar. Wrapped in green mangroves and blissfully quiet, it's the kind of place made for unwinding before and after a day in the water. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with two PADI Instructors on staff, it's a centre born from a genuine love of this enchanted land and its sea.

Diving Nosy Be

Local dive sites include Olaf Hippo, Nosy Tanilkely and Atnam, where the marine life runs from sharks, turtles and ocean fish to eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and rays. The undisputed star is the humpback whale, which migrates each year from Antarctic waters to the warm Indian Ocean — between August and October you may spot mothers swimming with their calves.

With an onsite training pool, classroom, house reef, dive boat and free Wi-Fi, the centre suits everyone from first-timers to returning divers. Courses and instruction are offered in English and Italian.
