Our Ocean Diving

On Ambarihonko beach in the northwest of Nosy Be, Madagascar, Our Ocean Diving grew out of a genuine love for this stretch of coast. Set among lush mangroves and created in collaboration with Emeraude Lodge, it's a tranquil base for unwinding before and after time in the water, connecting visitors with friendly locals and the marine life just offshore.

Courses and dive sites

A PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with two PADI Instructors, the centre welcomes complete beginners with introductory sessions and offers comprehensive courses for those ready to explore further. A 7.5-metre boat with a shade roof reaches nearby islands, and the Marine Park half-day dive trip runs roughly four hours, from USD 143. Managers Max and Tea bring their own experience and passion to every outing.

The waters here are home to sharks, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs, corals and reef fish. From August to October, humpback whales arrive from Antarctica with their calves. With English, French, Italian and Portuguese spoken, Our Ocean suits divers and sea-lovers alike.
