Courses and local diving

The course lineup runs from first-time underwater explorers to aspiring dive professionals. A midweek PADI Open Water Referral (Part 1/2, theory and pool training) runs Tuesdays and Thursdays over roughly 2 days, from USD 649. Confined-water sessions take place in a luxurious Manhattan health-club pool for a comfortable, focused start.

Divers train and explore at sites including Dutch Springs and the Manhattan Plaza Health Club, with onsite training pool and classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a retail shop on hand. Air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, rentals, and group dive trips round things out. With instruction in English, Spanish, and German, Pan Aqua suits anyone ready to explore the underwater world from the heart of NYC.
