Pintuyan Dive Resort

Pintuyan Dive Resort sits on the waterfront of Panaon Island in the Philippines, where whale sharks roam the coast almost all year round — often in shallow water right on the house reef. These are wild animals in their natural habitat; they are not fed. Beyond the whale sharks, the centre is also known for first-class macro diving and healthy coral reefs.

Courses and diving

As a PADI Resort with one PADI Instructor, Pintuyan teaches in English and offers a full range of training, from PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling to EFR First Aid, Public Safety Diver, Adaptive Diving and conservation programmes. An onsite training pool and classroom support every level of learner.

Divers can expect to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish across the local sites. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available, along with air fills and a full range of scuba equipment rental. With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat and an aquarium/deep pool on site, it suits both newcomers and experienced divers drawn to big-animal and macro encounters alike.
