Planet Scuba

Tucked into Castle Rock and serving the Denver scene, Planet Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and self-described one-stop shop for gear, classes, and travel. With seven PADI Instructors on staff, it's a natural fit for new divers ready to start their first course and certified divers looking to keep building skills, all in English.

Courses, local diving, and what to expect

Training runs through PADI Scuba Diving alongside PADI First Aid - EFR, with an onsite, air-conditioned classroom to keep things comfortable. Closer to home, divers head out to Blue Hole, Sunrise Beach, and Horsetooth Reservoir, where the local marine life includes sharks, whales, turtles, freshwater fish, and more.

The shop covers the full picture: a retail store, equipment sales, air fills, and scuba rental from masks and fins to 7mm, 3mm, and shorty wetsuits, regulators, dive computers, and cylinders, including children's sizes. There's parking onsite, a dive club, conservation work, and travel for those looking to take their diving further afield.
