Some dive shops trade in gear. Port Divers, Inc. trades in a life built around it. In 1995, Greg and Joyce bought the Long Island shop that had already been "their" dive shop for over 15 years — a place that has stood in the same spot for over 50. Greg has been certified since 1974, Joyce since 1987, and together they turned a shared passion into their livelihood.

What you'll find

As a PADI Dive Center in Port Jefferson Station, New York, the shop covers the essentials for local divers: air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, and scuba equipment rental. On-site you'll find a retail shop, air conditioning, and parking, with everything handled in English.

Port Divers suits divers who want a long-established, owner-run shop close to home — a welcoming spot to gear up, fill tanks, and lean on decades of hands-on experience. The shop is open Tuesday through Sunday, with a shorter Sunday schedule.
