Poseidon

Tucked into a waterfront location at the Port de Nice, Poseidon is a PADI Resort dive center serving the waters off Nice, France. With two PADI Instructors guiding from its own dive boat, the center opens up more than 15 different diving spots — most of them within reach no matter your certification level.

Diving the Villefranche bay

The dive sites sit roughly 20 minutes away by boat, with most located in the Villefranche bay. The bay's configuration means diving stays safe and visibility stays good whatever the sea conditions. Every dive here is a boat dive on the reef, where you might drift slowly along a wall or slip into a cavern — though there are no wrecks in the Nice area.

Expect to share the water with a rich cast of marine life, from ocean fish, eels and echinoderms to molluscs, crustaceans, corals, anemones and more. With English and French both spoken and scuba equipment available to rent, Poseidon suits divers of every level looking to explore the Mediterranean reef.
