Purple Turtle Fiji

Purple Turtle Fiji is a PADI 5 Star dive centre set in the heart of the tourism scene at Port Denarau Marina, Western Fiji. Daily guided diving, Discover Scuba Diving and a full range of PADI Courses run from a waterfront base, and the centre is the only dive centre/resort in Fiji with its own in-house PADI Course Director — which is exactly why the course list here is the widest you'll find anywhere in the country.

Small groups, big water

Certified divers of all levels head out on 2-tank guided trips from Denarau Marina, and there's a 4 tank (2 day) option for anyone wanting more bottom time. Dive trips are capped at 6 divers, with a target of no more than 4 divers to 1 guide, and multiple guides come along when experience levels differ. All guides are renewed PADI Members and fully insured; boats are licensed and insured, with captains holding internationally recognized licenses.

In the Mamanuca waters, temperatures run from approx. 25C in July/August to 30C in January/February, with visibility averaging around 20m and occasionally reaching 40m. Expect sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. The style is relaxed, fun and friendly — but professional and safety conscious throughout.
