Rip City Scuba and Watersports

Based in Clackamas, Oregon, Rip City Scuba and Watersports (formerly Ocean Paradise Dive and Travel) serves the Portland Metro area, including Vancouver, WA. This veteran-owned, veteran-operated center is a PADI 5 Star IDC staffed by six PADI Instructors, with an experienced team ready to field any diving or equipment question.

Courses and services

Training runs the full ladder, from entry-level scuba through Instructor and Specialty Instructor. The line-up spans PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling, PADI First Aid (EFR) and PADI Public Safety Diver, alongside scuba travel and conservation activities.

On site you'll find a classroom, an Adaptive Services Facility, retail shop, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and parking. Services include air fills, equipment sales, rental gear and manufacturer-approved equipment service and repair. Local waters host sharks, whales, turtles, freshwater fish, eels, echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish. Instruction is offered in English.
