River City Scuba

River City Scuba is a veteran owned and operated dive shop and training facility in Columbus, drawing on instructors and divers from a wide range of backgrounds and diving interests. As a PADI 5 Star IDC with 8 PADI Instructors, it runs training across all levels of recreational scuba diving as well as Public Safety Diving.

Courses and local diving

New divers can start with the PADI Open Water Diver course, from USD 525 over roughly 6 days, then keep building skills toward a lifetime of underwater experiences. Nearby, Bibb Pond serves as a local training and diving site close to home.

On site you'll find a training pool, a classroom, a retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking. Services cover air fills, nitrox, mixed gas, equipment sales, and scuba and kids' equipment rental, plus a dive club and travel. It's a welcoming fit for beginners and experienced divers alike, with English spoken throughout.
