Sac City Scuba

For over 20 years, the team at Sac City Scuba has been certifying divers across California from its home in Sacramento. A PADI 5 Star Dive Center staffed by 3 PADI Instructors, it holds a distinction it's rightly proud of: California's only dive center with 100% 5-Star Yelp reviews.

Courses and local diving

Instruction runs through PADI Scuba Diving programs, PADI First Aid – EFR, and conservation training, all supported by an onsite classroom. Divers explore local freshwater sites at Negro Bar / Rainbow Bridge and Folsom Lake, home to marine life including sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

The center is a full-service base with air fills, equipment sales, and rentals for scuba, kids' and freediving gear. On-site you'll find air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking, plus a dive club, conservation activities and travel. Services are offered in English — a welcoming fit for anyone learning or diving around Sacramento.
