Salt of PNG

Salt of PNG is a beachfront dive centre in Kokopo, Papua New Guinea, set in a waterfront location complete with a house reef right on its doorstep. As a PADI Resort with one PADI Instructor on hand, it offers turnkey diving activities that run from snorkelling with dolphins through to wreck and reef diving, plus comprehensive dive education.

Courses and local diving

The centre delivers PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, Snorkelling and First Aid (EFR) training, with an onsite training pool to build confidence before you head out. Local dive sites include Atun and the Rapopo Wreck, while the surrounding waters host marine life such as sharks, whales, turtles, rays, ocean fish, and other mammals and reptiles.

Facilities cover a dive boat, onsite accommodation, food and drinks, and parking, with services spanning air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, scuba rental and conservation activities. English is spoken, making it a well-rounded base for divers of all levels looking to explore this corner of East New Britain.
